We have decided that Wes wears his heart on his sleeve. When he is happy, you know it, and when he's not so happy, well, you know that too. Wes has been smiling at us for quite a while now, and his newest trick is giggling. He tends to find a lot of things pretty funny. In fact, we've learned that you don't even have to tell him a joke...he laughs if you simply tell him punch lines! He also thinks Dad is pretty funny too, especially when tickling and embarassing voices are involved.
Another favorite pastime is dancing before bathtime. Wes likes to lay on our bed and be lifted up to his feet for some groovin' to one of Kristy's favorite new groups, the Pentatonix (winners of this season's Sing Off, if anyone out there is a fan). We're not which he likes better: the dancing or the thrill of the fall back to the bed!
Finally, Wes has developed better control of his hands. He had found his thumb, and it apparently is delicious. He also has figured how to grasp some things, and sometimes he is successful at bringing those objects to his mouth. If his stuffed teddy bear is any preview of how he is going to give kisses, Bear the dog is going to be in a lot of trouble.
