Ready or not, Spring, we're coming out to play!

Toddlers are not known for their patience.  If spring is going to take its sweet time getting here, I assure you, no toddler is going to wait for it.  There are now more hours of sunlight each day, and the 5' snow drift in the back yard is finally gone, so despite blustery winds and much cooler-than-average temperatures, the kiddos are out in full force.

Even shoveling lost its appeal with our last big snowfall.  Wes and friends decided it was time to put away the sleds and shovels and start mowing the snow.

Of course we don't want to let the cool weather prevent us from enjoying springtime treats...

And finally the first legitimately warm day arrived.  We celebrated by going to a park and taking a walk through the woods.
