Let it Snow...I suppose.

We don't let go of warm weather easily around here.  Mostly we just add a few layers to our wardrobe and keep on doin' what we do.

So you can imagine our surprise when, true to the weather forecast, we woke up to this...in November!

After taking a few seconds to process what he was seeing, Wes excitedly called to his stuffed dog, "FRED! YOU'VE GOT TO SEE THIS!"  And no more than an hour later we were outside (with a few more layers this time) and loving it.

Even the dogs didn't seem to mind.  Maisy went crazy, and Bear, per usual, tolerated it.

Wes' favorite part?  Batting practice.

Well over an hour later, we trudged inside, rosy cheeked, for some hot cocoa and cartoons.
